Laos Visit eVisa
Entry Type
The Laos Visit eVisa permits single entry only. Once you exit Laos, the eVisa cannot be used again.
Duration of Stay
You may stay in Laos for up to 30 days per visit.
Validity Duration
The eVisa remains valid for 60 days from the date of approval. You must enter Laos and complete your stay within this window.
Overstaying Your eVisa
Remaining in Laos beyond your permitted stay carries serious consequences. Authorities may impose fines, issue a deportation order, or ban you from entering Laos in the future. Depart before your authorised stay ends.
Required Documents
Passport Biopage
- A clear digital scan of your passport's biopage
- Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your intended date of travel
- At least 2-3 blank pages available for entry and exit stamps
Digital Applicant Photograph
- Face directed straight towards the camera, eyes open, mouth closed
- Plain, light-coloured background - white is preferred
- No hats, headgear, or accessories covering the face or ears
Steps to Apply
- Step 1: Register and complete the Laos eVisa application form with your passport details.
- Step 2: Review the form, select processing time, and upload clear copies of the required documents.
- Step 3: Pay the processing fee using your debit/credit card, then submit the form.
- Step 4: Receive your approved eVisa via email and print it to show to the immigration authorities.
